This sole is made using a GRS certified 100% recycled TPU mixed with additives and dyes for a weight of less than 10%.
The supply chain for the production of this sole is entirely traceable and guaranteed by the third-party control required by the GRS.
The pure use of the material (without additives or dyes) allows us to obtain a recycled and recyclable sole, 100% sustainable.
For the most common colors (black, brown, beige, white) the certified recycled material content is greater than 90%.
According to the regulation issued by the TextileExchange, only GRS certified footwear manufacturers can make use of the GRS logo and advertising claims associated with the GRS certified finished “footwear” product.
Non-GRS certified footwear manufacturers can still take advantage of Corplast’s GRS certification to promote the sustainability of their products in relation to the individual components used.
Many physical or e-commerce marketplaces are already applying smart labeling that takes into account the recycled and certified content of relevant components such as soles, insoles or uppers.
